The Ninja profession is pretty much a thing of the past. Yet there are some pockets of Ninja training that still flourish even today. Trainers teach their students the basic ideals on the Ninja martial arts in a more modern way. That requires a new kind on Ninja clothing.
In the past, when Ninjas practiced their trade in the East, their Ninja clothing served several basic purposes. The first was to help them blend in with their surroundings. The second was to facilitate their martial arts and other physical movements. The third role of Ninja clothing was to provide places to carry necessary objects.
Ninja clothing covered the warrior from head to foot, except for the eyes and hands. If you walked around city streets this way, you would definitely not fit in with the crowd. No Ninja would wear this garb if living in a modern city.
Instead, modern Ninja clothing would have to look like what others on the street wear. It would have to be some form of slacks and shirt, if that is what is common in the area. Wear shoes, but if they are a part of your modern Ninja clothing see to it that they are flexible and have just the right amount of slickness.
There will be times when the old-fashioned Ninja outfit might still be appropriate. If you are working in a completely dark, moonless night setting you might want to wear the black Shinobi Shozoko. In a forest, a green camouflage one might work fine. For a pure white snow background, the white Ninja clothing might be the best.
