Sports Shoes Memories
My buddy, Louis, is the biggest sports enthusiast I ever know. He’s mad regarding all sports activities. He collects sports memorabilia the way a spinster might acquire pet cats. He takes great attention of them, he cleans them regularly. He’s collections from all kinds of sports activities. Just label it, it’s there. He has soccer, boxing, basketball, baseball, football as well as golf. I have lost count of precisely how many memorabilia he has, all I know is that he treasured them all and he becomes really crazy when we try to touch it.
The moment I inquired him why he collects sports memorabilia, he would just casually shrug the query off. He not ever really bothered sharing why he does things. I cannot really remember when he began his collections. Eventually, my mom and I had been discussing his collections when she mentioned that the very first memorabilia my brother acquired was from my grandpa. Louis and my grandpa had a really tight bond and, I assume, the instant the latter passed away, my brother felt that it is his responsibility to continue a legacy.
Right now, I know why he accumulates these things. Our younger brother, Mike, adores and admires Louis so much that he wished to be much like him. He is taking on his own collection. This point it’s on sports shoes. I, often, ponder if I am related to this family. I’m never thinking about accumulating stuff and have no plans to collect anything soon. But, what I learn is, there is love within this family and it is established by persevering a heritage left by our grandparents.
